Baruch College - Speech Consultant

I worked at Baruch College (from Fall of 2015 - Spring 2017) with Tools for Clear Speech as a Speech Consultant. As a Speech Consultant, I worked with students who want to enhance various aspects of their English ranging from pronunciation to grammar, and also want to improve speeches/presentations for class or practice job interviews. This job has been rewarding as it allows me to work 1-1 with students, identifying individual needs and creating personalized plans for improvement. Some of the things I did at Baruch are practicing tongue positioning for phonetics, reading and discussing articles to improve fluency and speech clarity, and also listening to student presentations to identify places for improvement.
